One Man & His Missile

Portrait of Brian Stafford from North Coates Flying Club beside the last Bloodhound missile at the former RAF North Coates. The former Royal Air Force station near Grimsby was once home from 1956 until its closure in 1990 to 48 surface-to-air missiles. This Mk1 Bloodhound was discovered in a theme park on the Isle of Wight from where it was rescued and brought back to North Coates where Brian is restoring it. #northcoatesflyingclub #northcoates #rafnorthcotes #grimsby #lincolnshire #royalairforce #portraitphotography #nikon
